It is important to have you eyes examined every year by a licensed optometrist. Annual eye exams will help ensure that your vision is sharpest at all times. Our optometrists provide genuine, compassionate and expert care while providing a thorough evaluation of your eyes.
Our optometrists provide more than just a standard new prescription for glasses or contacts. They can diagnose many eye diseases and health problems such glaucoma, high blood pressure and diabetes. Most of these can be diagnosed in beginning stages with annual exams.
To determine the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision, your exam includes:
- Comprehensive patient eye history
- Internal eye health examination
- Near focusing
- Binocular vision
- Prescription for distance, intermediate and/or near vision
- External eye health examination
- Retinal evaluations for diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and cataracts
